All the Places to Go...How Will You Know? by John Ortberg

RightNow Media study - 9:00am in the multipurpose room

Here's what it's about:  Very rarely in the Bible does God command someone to “stay.” He opens a door, and then he invites us to walk through it—into the unknown. And how we choose to respond will ultimately determine the lives we will lead and the people we will become.

In this six-session video curriculum, bestselling author John Ortberg opens our eyes to the countless open doors God places before us every day, teaches us how to recognize them, and gives us the encouragement to step out in faith and embrace all of the extraordinary opportunities that await.

So go ahead—walk through that door. You just might do something that lasts for eternity.

Explore the Bible is a book-by-book Bible study for groups of all ages that takes participants deep into the context of God’s Word and challenges them to live it out in their own context.

Coffee and Tea Time - As an alternative to Sunday School, coffee and tea are available in the Great Room near the fireplace during the hour prior to our worship service.  You are welcome to enjoy a cup of "brew," sit and visit with others.

Women's Ministry

Ladies' Monday Evening Bible Study

6:30pm Mondays at CBF

Ladies' Bible Study is studying A Woman's Heart by Beth Moore.  In this 10-week in-depth Bible study you will be challenged to prepare your heart, like the holy of holies, to become a home for His love and glory — a dwelling place for the Most High God.

Please Join Us!

Ladies' Ministry focuses on encouraging women to grow in relationship with each other, to grow in God's Word, and to support each other through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

The Gospel Project

Community Bible Fellowship has begun the series "THE GOSPEL PROJECT," A chronological journey through the Scriptures.  The Bible is not a collection of stories.  It is one story of God's plan to rescue His people from sin and death.  It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  And it's our story too.  Participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith and the call to join in God's mission locally and globally.

The Gospel Project is a coordinated program including our Sunday school, children's church, congregational sermons, and community group studies.  It will be delivered over a series of semester study periods with breaks during the holiday season and summer vacation season.

The Gospel Project study will continue with weekly Sunday sermons focusing on the books of the New Testament. The Gospel Project for Community Groups and Adult Sunday School will begin in the fall.

Community Groups

We have on-going church-wide Community Groups studying The Gospel Project.  Please give us a call if you would like to join a group or if you would like more information.

A small group is invaluable to your Christian walk as you find yourself among fellow Christians who care deeply about you, pray for you, share experiences, and hold you accountable in your faith. Several groups meet for Bible Study on various topics throughout the year and at least once per year a church-wide study is offered (everyone studying the same topic).
