This Study Begins May 7th.  Please join us!

“Join Old Testament Women on Their Walk from Fear to Faith”

Journey alongside some special women in the Old Testament on their walk from fear to deeper faith in our amazing God. They were EVERYDAY WOMEN like we are who experienced fear like we do. From their life stories, we can see an EVER-FAITHFUL GOD in action. Be challenged and encouraged as you discover and apply wonderful, timeless truths of God’s character to our modern, hectic lives.

Ladies' Ministry focuses on encouraging women to grow in relationship with each other, to grow in God's Word, and to support each other through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

Sunday School

We have several options for Sunday School and fellowship each Sunday morning at 9am.

Explore the Bible is a book-by-book Bible study for groups of all ages that takes participants deep into the context of God’s Word and challenges them to live it out in their own context. A new quarter will begin on June 3rd studying 2 Samuel.

What Makes You Happy by Andy Stanley - In his short videos, Andy breaks down preconceptions about what makes true happiness and outlines simple changes that can lead to lasting happiness.

The Gospel Project - We will begin this class again in the fall.

Coffee and Tea Time - As an alternative to Sunday School, coffee and tea are available in the Great Room near the fireplace during the hour prior to our worship service.  You are welcome to enjoy a cup of "brew," sit and visit with others.

The Gospel Project

Community Bible Fellowship has begun the series "THE GOSPEL PROJECT," A chronological journey through the Scriptures.  The Bible is not a collection of stories.  It is one story of God's plan to rescue His people from sin and death.  It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  And it's our story too.  Participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith and the call to join in God's mission locally and globally.

The Gospel Project is a coordinated program including our Sunday school, children's church, congregational sermons, and community group studies.  It will be delivered over a series of semester study periods with breaks during the holiday season and summer vacation season.

The Gospel Project study will continue with weekly Sunday sermons focusing on the beginning books of the Old Testament.

Please join us for this journey!

Community Groups

CBF Community Groups are on-going using The Gospel Project study of the Bible.

Please contact the church office (309-527-6321) if you would like to plug into a short or long term group.

A small group is invaluable to your Christian walk as you find yourself among fellow Christians who care deeply about you, pray for you, share experiences, and hold you accountable in your faith. Several groups meet for Bible Study on various topics throughout the year and at least once per year a church-wide study is offered (everyone studying the same topic).

Men's Ministry

Men's Football Fellowship - Each fall we get together to watch the games, share snacks, get to know each other, and support each other, as we live life beyond Sunday. Look forward to 2018 season of football fellowship in next October. Please contact our family pastor, Luke Holderby (luke@cbfministries.org or call/text 309-310-3706) for more information.
