Community Groups

We will begin a 6 week study of "Jesus the Risen King" the week of October 14, 2018.  Please give us a call if you would like to join a group or if you would like more information.

CBF Community Groups are on-going using The Gospel Project study of the Bible.

A small group is invaluable to your Christian walk as you find yourself among fellow Christians who care deeply about you, pray for you, share experiences, and hold you accountable in your faith. Several groups meet for Bible Study on various topics throughout the year and at least once per year a church-wide study is offered (everyone studying the same topic).

Sunday School

We have several options for Sunday School and fellowship each Sunday morning at 9am.

Explore the Bible is a book-by-book Bible study for groups of all ages that takes participants deep into the context of God’s Word and challenges them to live it out in their own context. A new quarter will begin in September studying Galatians and James.

A Right Now Media Study - “Thriving in Babylon”  by Larry Osborne will begin on September 30th at 9:00am in the multipurpose room. Whether you're college-age or have college-age children, all are welcome to join us.

Here’s what it’s all about: These are confusing times for many Christians. Traditional biblical values are not only rejected; it seems as if they're attacked on every front. It's all happened at warp speed, leaving many of us spiritually and culturally disoriented or even fearful, frustrated, and angry. How can we spiritually survive in an increasingly spiritually hostile environment? And is there any hope for the next generation?

In this 5-session series, Larry Osborne introduces us to a man forced to live in a fast-changing and godless society. This man faced fears about the future, concern for his safety, and the discouragement of a world that seemed to be falling apart at warp speed. That man was Daniel, and with the power of hope, humility, and wisdom, he not only survived, but thrived.

Each session also includes real-life stories of people struggling to thrive in an ever-increasing godless society. Though Daniel lived thousands of years ago, he has much to teach us today.

The Gospel Project - A 6 week study of "Jesus the Risen King"

begins October 14, 2018.

Coffee and Tea Time - As an alternative to Sunday School, coffee and tea are available in the Great Room near the fireplace during the hour prior to our worship service.  You are welcome to enjoy a cup of "brew," sit and visit with others.

Women's Ministry

Ladies' Monday Evening Bible Study

Looking forward to starting a new study in January.  More details to come.

6:30pm - 8:30pm at Community Bible Fellowship

Please join us!

Ladies' Ministry focuses on encouraging women to grow in relationship with each other, to grow in God's Word, and to support each other through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.

The Gospel Project

Community Bible Fellowship has begun the series "THE GOSPEL PROJECT," A chronological journey through the Scriptures.  The Bible is not a collection of stories.  It is one story of God's plan to rescue His people from sin and death.  It is the story of redemption, the gospel message of Jesus Christ.  And it's our story too.  Participants will encounter God's plan of redemption in Scripture through study of Bible narrative, the essential doctrines of the faith and the call to join in God's mission locally and globally.

The Gospel Project is a coordinated program including our Sunday school, children's church, congregational sermons, and community group studies.  It will be delivered over a series of semester study periods with breaks during the holiday season and summer vacation season.

The Gospel Project study will continue with weekly Sunday sermons focusing on the books of the New Testament. The Gospel Project for Community Groups and Adult Sunday School will begin in the fall.
