Small Groups

CBF is blessed with a variety of active adult small groups. Several are Bible Study groups for couples, some involve singles and couples, and one is a women's group that meets on Monday evenings in the home of one of our members. More recently, CBF now has a men's small group that meets on Saturday mornings. Some of the groups include a variety of ages, while others are tailored more specifically to a certain age group.

The study matter at these small groups is decided by the group itself, as are the meeting nights and frequency. A small group can be invaluable to your Christian walk as you suddenly find yourself among fellow Christians who care deeply about you, pray for you, share experiences with you, and hold you accountable in your faith.

If you are interested in joining a small group, even if you are not a part of our church, our Small Groups Coordinator, Norma Ooms, will be happy to assist your transition into a small group that suits your needs. Please contact the church office or church administrator, Alicia Miller, and we will put you in touch with the Coordinator. Church email and phone numbers are listed on the "Contact Us" page of our website.

 Adult Bible Fellowship

Each quarter a new Sunday School class (read: Adult Bible Study) is held in the auditorium during second hour, 10:45 - 11:30 a.m., each Sunday.

The current class features a study built around C.S. Lewis's classic book, The Problem with Pain.  Marty Dudley, one of our Elders, is the instructor and discussion leader for this class.

Come and join us!

 Coffee and Tea Club

As an alternative to Adult Sunday School, Coffee and Tea Club is held upstairs in the East Room. C & T  Club is strictly for adults and is designed to foster fellowship opportunities.

 Men's Ministry

A newly-formed Men's Ministry meets on the 1st and 3rds Saturday mornings of the month at 7:00am for hot beverages (coffee + tea) and rolls upstairs at CBF.  The meeting includes fellowship, a brief Bible Study, and the morning snack.  Please check this out.  Men will become more closely acquainted with one another and learn to support one another in prayer and friendship.  An added benefit is the chance to increase your knowledge of the Bible and its life-sustaining principles.  Men of all ages are welcome.
