| Welcome to CBF | |
Greetings from the body of Christ at Community Bible Fellowship!
We are so glad you are visiting our website. Community Bible Fellowship (CBF) is a family-friendly church, comprised of several community bases in and around El Paso, Illinois. Our mission is "transforming men, women, and children into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ." We seek to do this both at home and abroad - by sharing the life-changing Good News of redemption through the person and work of Jesus.
We recently celebrated 19 years of existence! Having come from very small beginnings as a church plant of East White Oak Bible Church, we are now a church family that seeks to be an integral part of what God is doing here in central Illinois. Our membership consists of folks from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. We have melded ourselves together under the authority of God's Word and seek to make a difference in the corner of the world that God has planted us.

Church 9:00-10:30am; 2nd Hr Education 10:45-11:30 am
Community Bible Fellowship (known as CBF) is a teaching church with messages based directly on Bible passages. The message brings the scriptures alive by giving a historical background and then by relating the Biblical passage to our lives today.
You will find many ministries at CBF to attract you and your family. Christian education extends from preschool to adult classes. We have a nursery for infants and a nursery for toddlers, as well as Children's Church for preschool through third grade that meets upstairs following the opening worship music until the service is finished. Dale Pokarney, Director of Student Ministries has a very active youth program for junior high and high school students. Currently, they meet at the Impact Center a block west of our main church facility on Front Street
CBF features a congregational prayer time that illustrates the importance we place on the power of prayer in the lives of Christians. While this may be different than what you have experienced before, once you have been with us a few times, you will feel the love and caring that is part of this prayer time.
The mission of CBF is to welcome everyone who comes through our doors with acceptance, friendship, care, and concern. We would welcome you if you should choose to visit us and would be glad to help you acclimate to our church body in any way we can.
