Last October, Community Bible Fellowship decided to move our Sunday worship services indoors. At that time, the Elders implemented a policy for attendance that included extra distances between seating, hand sanitizers for attendees, a reduced worship service time and requirement for face coverings.
Since that time some of the national and state guidance’s have been modified and in some cases eliminated.
The Elders of CBF continue our concern for everyone’s health and safety but feel it is time to revisit the previous policy.
With input from members of the congregation, the following recommendations will take affect immediately:
- Hand sanitizing stations will still be available around the church,
- Sanctuary seating will continue to allow extra space between rows and attendees may sit together as you feel comfortable,
- Normal service activities and times will return to pre-COVID schedules,
- Face coverings will be considered optional based upon the comfort of the wearer.
We appreciate your participation in the fall and winter worship service changes and look forward to welcoming all our worship community back to Community Bible Fellowship. We believe that as we move to more openness, we also need to continue to grow in the grace we extend to each other, especially when our convictions differ. Let us diligently look to “maintain the unity of Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3)
Live streaming of the Sunday worship services will continue being broadcast on the CBF Facebook site and CBF YouTube channel.
By popular demand, when the outdoor weather allows, our Sunday morning services will be held outdoors like we did last summer. When the weather is not appropriate, we will meet indoors.
