Stephen and Nancy Jeffreys are charter members Of Community Bible Fellowship of El Paso, initiating the first public meeting to identify needs and the possibility of establishing a new Bible Church in El Paso, Illinois. After serving in missions with a mission agency for nine years they founded Kingdom Seeker Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)3 non profit organization in 2004.

Steve is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College earning a BA in General Ministry and Nancy has completed graduate level courses in Old Testament and New Testament from Trinity Seminary, Urbana, Illinois. They have also earned certificates in the Perspectives in World Missions Program.

Concerned with the immense cost of sending missionaries to foreign fields only to see them step away from career assignments, they determined to mentor and disciple missionary candidates and others in personal spiritual growth. Adapting material from a missionary colleague, Steve and Nancy formed a team, developed and now use "The Glory of the Gospel: A Study in St Paul's Epistle to the Galatians" as their primary discipleship tool.

In addition their discipleship, mentoring, and coaching efforts, they speak at churches and mission committees, conduct workshops, retreats, prayer walks, visit missionaries in the field and generally offer spiritual support. Among these areas of mission work, they have discipled and worked with missionaries in the Dominican Republic and several other Caribbean Islands, Italy, France, Russia, India, China, Tunisia and Kenya Africa, England, and Canada.

Their ministry continues to grow as they develop leaders and many more groups of people realize the Gospel is not only for salvation but for joyful living in freedom in our every day lives as well.

Steve and Nancy now reside in Normal, Illinois, have three grown children and three grand children.

Megan grew up in Community Bible Fellowship and has loved Africa since 7th grade without  knowing what kindled the fire, but now can see that God was preparing her heart to love South African children, particularly those with special needs, “the least of these".  Since 2007, she has been on several short term trips to South Africa and returned for full time ministry in 2012, partnering with several schools and children’s ministries to vulnerable and disadvantaged children living in slum areas. Until July 2017, Megan was serving Bizweni Centre for Children with Disabilities, near Capetown, putting her Special Education degree to use through teaching the children, designing curriculum, and training local teachers, as well as instilling the love Jesus has for them and their families and building their self-worth. Upon returning to the United States, it was clear there was a God orchestrated, unique opportunity to serve within CBF’s Youth Ministry, IMPACT, to help minister to the pre-teens and teens in our communities. The youth group has seen a growing number of students with special needs attending their weekly programs and so a large part of Megan’s focus is to help them to continue developing ways to creatively teach and promote inclusive participation opportunities for everyone attending IMPACT.

"I Always Wanted to Know About..."

Summer Sunday series: "I Always Wanted to Know about..." returns in May 2017. Here is your opportunity to ask a question about most anything; a passage you don't quite understand, a topic you've always wanted to know about, an issue that we all face today. Answers will be offered, taught from a biblical perspective, giving us insight into God's heart, His purpose, and His direction for us. With hectic summer schedules quickly coming upon us, each Sunday message will be a "stand-alone" teaching time, so you won't ever miss two parts of a three part series due to vacation.
