Day 2 - February 15

Scripture Reading

 Joel 2:12-13 (NLT)

12 That is why the Lord says,

“Turn to me now, while there is time.

Give me your hearts.

Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.

13 Don’t tear your clothing in your grief,

but tear your hearts instead.”

Return to the Lord your God,

for he is merciful and compassionate,

slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

He is eager to relent and not punish.

Prayer Focus

That we would turn our hearts toward God, returning to Him when we fall and when we are weary.

O Lord, all my longing is before you,

and my sighing is not hidden from you.

My heart throbs violently, my strength leaves me;

and the light of my eyes, that also is not with me.

For my iniquity I confess;

I am anxious because of my sin.

Do not forsake me, O Lord.

O my God, do not be far from me.

Hurry to help me,

O Lord, my salvation.
