Global missions/missionaries
God has equipped all of us for service in His Kingdom. We value the giftedness He grants all of us, and seek to recognize and use those gifts to fulfill our purpose within the Great Commission. CBF members have served in short term missions around the world and the church family supports full-time missionaries both here and abroad. Various short term trips around the world are made available for Junior High students through adults.

Community Bible Fellowship (CBF) supports missionaries who work with a variety of important ministries around the globe.
TOFIG AND AMY MAMMADOV
Tofig and Amy Mammadov have stepped into leadership of the local International Student Ministry (ISM) as John and Linda Berger gradually step back. The ministry remains under International Students Inc. (ISI), which seeks to reach international students studying in the U.S.
With more than a decade of experience serving international students, Tofig’s journey began at ISU in 2012 as an international student himself. A local host family through the Meet and Greet program played an important role in his faith journey. After accepting Christ in 2013, he began volunteering with ISM and joined ISI staff in late 2024. Today, the ministry operates as The I-Hub, led by a core team of 11.
The I-Hub mobilizes the local community to welcome, disciple, and equip international students to become disciple makers. Programs include Friday Game Nights, Supper Club dinners, the Meet and Greet Host Family program, and a weekly Bible study.
The mission remains unchanged: “Share Christ’s Love with International Students,” one relationship at a time.

TOM AND JENNIFER ROTH
The mission of Can Do Kids International (CDKI) is to help children experience God’s love, learn God’s Word and live God’s way through programs (CDK Clubs), projects and engaging people in hand-on, relational ministry. CDK started at Community Bible Fellowship in 2007. In addition to clubs in central and western Illinois, Can Do Kids International has started clubs in partnership with churches in Kenya and Philippines. CDKI also manages projects with public schools in Kenya that provide clean water, school supplies, self-sustaining work projects, and student sponsorships. Can Do Kids International leads short term teams to Kenya on a regular basis that are open to CBF attenders. CDK partners with youth ministries in Ukraine and plans to launch its first Can Do Kids there in 2020. Tom and Jennifer Roth, charter members of Community Bible Fellowship, lead the ministry.

CHAD AND CHERRY GFELLER
Our work seeks to reach the nations in Berlin, Germany, with a focus on unreached people groups, by shining the light of the gospel through creative initiatives that meet personal, academic and athletic needs of individuals and families for the purpose of establishing relationships and creating fellowship.
By bridging into communities in this way we are seeking to mobilize the church to live out the gospel to Germans and foreigners across the city. This means that much of our work centers around working with local churches for the purpose of building up disciples in Christ, who present Him to the nations.
Our hope is that as churches meet the needs of the communities around them and love others in the way Christ has loved us, this will cultivate fertile ground for God to work in establishing new gospel communities that call out people from all nations to Himself.
We are thankful for the opportunity to work alongside CBF to fulfill the Great Commission. We count it a privilege to be invested with you for the gospel and we gladly join you in seeking to make Jesus known for the glory of the Father.

PAUL AND ABBEY CAMPBELL
Paul Campbell serves as the planting pastor of Gospel Peace Church in Logan, Utah. Gospel Peace’s mission statement is to “exist as a church to glorify God by making gospel-centered, grace-saturated disciples of Jesus Christ.” Paul oversees and carries the majority of the preaching and teaching load at Gospel Peace Church. His leadership role includes the leadership of the pastoral team, vision setting for the church body, and overseeing the training of future leaders. Paul has been happily married to Abbey since 2006. They have four children: Vail, Pilar, Ezekiel, and Amos.

JACK AND LINDSAY CAMPBELL
The Campbell family is passionate about God’s Word and humbled by the opportunity to be part of a translation team in French-speaking Africa. Jack and Lindsay are missionaries with Wycliffe working in Côte d'Ivoire and have seen God work in amazing ways to get them to this point. Jack is currently training to be a Linguistic Consultant, while Lindsay is homeschooling their 3 children, Lucy, Titus, and Elias. They live in Abidjan where Jack is providing linguistics services to the translation teams in country.

To reach and disciple all people in all places, The Navigators includes a wide variety of ministries and a broad family of missionaries, supporters, and volunteers. They engage people where they live, work, worship, and play—on college campuses and military bases, in inner cities and workplaces, in churches and neighborhoods, and even in places where the gospel is hard to reach. CBF supports a missionary connected to a religion that is often considered hostile to Christianity and purposefully stands behind them in prayer, desiring safety and courage in their ministry.
