 Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NLT)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

Prayer Focus

To put our hope and our confidence in the Lord

Most merciful Father, we render to you all praise, thanks and glory, for it has pleased you of your great mercies to grant unto us miserable sinners so excellent a gift and treasure as to receive us into the fellowship and company of your dear Son Jesus Christ our Lord, whom you have delivered to death for us, and have given him to us as a necessary food and nourishment unto everlasting life.

And now we ask you also, O heavenly Father, to grant us this request, that you never allow us to become so unkind as to forget so worthy benefits, but rather imprint and fasten them sure in our hearts, so that we may grow and increase daily more and more in true faith, which continually is exercised in all manner of good works. O Lord, confirm us in these perilous days and rages of Satan, so that we may constantly stand and continue in the confession of the same, to the advancement of your glory, who are God over all things, blessed forever. Amen.
