Absolute Truth?

“People are generally free to live however they want.”

Most people living in America would agree with this statement, as less than 42% of people (even among those professing to be “born-again” Christians) believe there is absolute truth. Which means, of course, that there is no absolute basis for ethics (aka, how we should live our lives) . . . leaving us free to do whatever we want.

What do you think? How would you respond to this statement?
