Scripture Readin

Romans 12:1-2 (NLT)

1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

To seek ways to serve Christ in body, mind, and spirit

My Lord, I have nothing to do in this world but to seek and serve you. I have nothing to do with a heart and its affections but to breathe after you. I have nothing to do with my tongue and pen but to speak to you, and for you, and to publish your glory and your will. What have I to do with all my reputation, and interest in my friends, but to increase your church, and propagate your holy truth and service? What have I to do with my remaining time, even these last and languishing hours, but to look up unto you, and wait for your grace, and your salvation?
