Join us each Sunday as we continue our study through 1 Corinthians - Church Matters - A Gospel-Centered Church.

We will be serving watermelon and hosting the annual dodgeball game at South Pointe Park on Tuesday, August 4th from 4:00-8:30. Please sign up at the connection counter or online here if you are willing to help. Let's support and strengthen our community together!

Our next prayer meeting will be Sunday, August 9th from 7:00-8:00 pm. Please consider joining us for a time of fellowship and faith as we come together in prayer. Your presence would mean a great deal to us, and we look forward to lifting up our petitions together.

Are you interested in baptism? Reach out to Pastor Glenn, Pastor Luke, or Pastor Mat by August 21st to answer any questions you have and pray with you as you consider taking this important step in your walk with Jesus. We are planning a baptism service on Sunday, August 30th. 

Join us Thursday, August 20th from 6:00-7:30 for our next scheduled Ladies Fellowship Evening. Everyone is welcome to come and bring a friend!

You’re invited to join the Utah Vision Trip September 30th to October 4th. This is a trip for pastors and partners of Plant for the Gospel in Utah, where less than 4% of population attend biblically based, Gospel-centered churches. It also provides awareness and opportunities to support and encourage Gospel Peace Church in Logan, Utah, where we support church planters Paul and Abbey Campbell. If you are interested, please contact Luke Holderby or the church office.

Along with sending caring cards in response to prayer requests, the CBF Caring Ministry also organizes Meal Trains on request.  If you and your family have a need, illness, surgery, injury, child birth, hospitalization of loved one, where a meal could ease some of your burden, we have members in our church who would be happy to help.  Please contact Deb Dalton, 815-878-2183. Answering a few questions can allow us to customize meals to your needs.

Please be in prayer for our Wednesday evening children's ministry, Joy4Jesus. Pray specifically that the children of our community will begin to understand the joy of living for Jesus and to learn of His teachings.
