Day 14 - March 3
Scripture Reading
Hebrews 13:15-16 (NLT)
15 Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. 16 And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
Prayer Focus
For a life marked by continual praise, grateful confession of Christ’s name, and tangible acts of goodness and generosity toward others.
O Lord and heavenly Father, we, your humble servants, entirely desire your fatherly goodness mercifully to accept this our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving; most humbly asking you to grant that, by the merits and death of your Son Jesus Christ, and through faith in his blood, we and all your whole Church may obtain remission of our sins, and all other benefits of his passion.
And here we offer and present unto you, O Lord, ourselves, our souls and bodies, to be a reasonable, holy, and living sacrifice unto you, humbly asking you, that we who are partakers of this holy communion may be filled with your grace and heavenly benediction. And although we are unworthy, through our manifold sins, to offer unto you any sacrifice, yet we ask you to accept this our bounden duty and service; not weighing our merits, but pardoning our offenses, through Jesus Christ our Lord; by whom and with whom, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, all honor and glory be unto you, O Father Almighty, world without end.
